Vikram Solar, a leading solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer, has secured a 150 megawatt (MW) solar module supply order from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO), a government of Maharashtra undertaking.
Under this agreement, Vikram Solar will supply advanced N-Type solar modules for deployment in the Jalgaon and Solapur districts of Maharashtra. This initiative is part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) Project 2.0, which aims to promote renewable energy adoption in the agricultural sector.

He emphasized that the trust placed in Vikram Solar reflects the company's commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
The implementation of this project is anticipated to boost the region's renewable energy capacity, support the reduction of carbon emissions, and advance environmental sustainability. Vikram Solar's inclusion in India's Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) underscores its status as a premier name in the country's solar manufacturing sector.
This development aligns with Maharashtra's broader objectives to enhance renewable energy infrastructure and reduce carbon emissions, contributing to India's national goals for sustainable energy.
